Everything we make is cut and lettered on 181 Street in west Edmonton — solid granite, sandblasted by hand, never ordered in finished and resold. You are welcome to come and see the stone at full size before it goes out to Castle Downs, and a good number of Castle Downs families do exactly that. Ask for a quote

Northern Lights is flat-only — does that limit what we can say on it?
Barely. A 36" × 18" companion marker carries two full names, both sets of dates, an inscription line and shape-carved artwork without crowding. Flush does not mean small or plain; it means level with the lawn. We will show you the layout at actual size on the proof.
Can we have an upright somewhere else instead?
If an upright matters more than the location, yes — St. Albert Municipal is a few minutes north-west and permits them across much of the grounds, as do the rural Sturgeon County cemeteries. That is a plot decision rather than a memorial decision, and it is worth making before you buy.
