Granite memorials for Leduc families
We are about 30 minutes south on the QEII, which puts every cemetery serving Leduc inside the area we deliver and install to. Families here are usually buying for Leduc Civic Cemetery, Leduc County's rural cemeteries and the burial grounds around Nisku and New Sarepta, and each of those grounds has its own rules about memorial size, thickness and whether an upright is allowed at all. Call the shop
Leduc's civic cemetery has both upright and flush sections, which is less common south of the city. Knowing which one your plot sits in changes the design entirely, so it is the first thing we check.
Everything we make is cut and lettered on 181 Street in west Edmonton — solid granite, sandblasted by hand, never ordered in finished and resold. You are welcome to come and see the stone at full size before it goes out to Leduc, and a good number of Leduc families do exactly that. Ask for a quote
If you do not yet know what your section allows, that is the normal starting point and not a problem. Tell us the cemetery and the plot number and we will find out, in writing, before you make a single decision about granite or wording. There is no charge for that and no obligation attached to it. All five are made in the same Edmonton shop, and we deliver and install throughout Leduc.
Why us
Why Leduc families work with us
We know the Leduc cemeteries
We have set memorials at Leduc Civic Cemetery, Leduc County's rural cemeteries and the burial grounds around Nisku and New Sarepta and we know what each one accepts. Before we quote you anything we confirm your section's size, thickness and finish rules in writing with the cemetery.
Clear, itemised pricing
The memorial price covers the granite, the engraving and two designs, with any amount of front lettering in any language. Delivery and installation to Leduc are quoted separately and stated up front, alongside the cemetery's own permit fee — nothing appears at the end that was not on the quote.
A proof before anything is cut
You see a scaled drawing of the finished memorial and check every name, date and word on it. Proofs are free, we redraw as many times as needed, and nothing goes to the saw until you approve it.
The cemetery paperwork is ours
Permit applications, size approvals and foundation scheduling are handled by us. You should not have to learn how a cemetery permit works while you are grieving.
Locally
What Leduc families usually choose
Leduc is one of the few places south of the city where the choice is genuinely open, because Leduc Civic Cemetery has both upright and flush sections. Which one your plot sits in decides the memorial before any other consideration. Families in the upright blocks tend toward single or companion monuments in dark granite; the flush sections take the same 24" × 12" and 36" × 18" markers we set across the region.
Leduc questions
Asked by families here
How do I find out whether my Leduc plot allows an upright?
The plot number tells us. Leduc Civic Cemetery keeps upright and flush sections in separate blocks, and the cemetery office will confirm which yours is in. We make that call for you as part of quoting — it takes a day, and it is the single most useful thing to establish before you start thinking about design.
Do you cover Leduc County's rural cemeteries?
Yes. Nisku, New Sarepta, Calmar, Thorsby and the smaller county grounds are all inside the area we deliver and set to as part of the job. Thorsby is at the outer edge of that; we still come, and there is no surcharge.
