Everything we make is cut and lettered on 181 Street in west Edmonton — solid granite, sandblasted by hand, never ordered in finished and resold. Can you fit a porcelain photograph to a headstone?
Yes. Oval and rectangular porcelain portrait mounts are common at St. Michael's and Beechmount and we fit them regularly, either recessed into the granite or surface-mounted in a bronze frame. Send us the photograph you have in mind and we will tell you whether it will reproduce well at that size.
What does Northern Lights Cemetery allow?
Flat markers. Northern Lights is Edmonton's newest municipal cemetery and it is lawn-level throughout, so the decisions there are size, granite colour and wording rather than upright versus flush.
